BioThis journal is for my own sanity. Sometimes it is easier to write than to speak. And all of our time is so limited, that instead of talking on the phone we are rather sitting in front our screens anymore. Makes it less personal, and one doesn't have to listen to someone's rambles, right?
A recent article, which has been going around as many people are talking about it, mentions how few friends Americans have these days. It was very sad indeed. After 14 years in Los Angeles, I can look back on less than a handful of true friends, and even those I have seen only about twice a year when I still lived there.
And that is why I started this journal - because nobody wants to be talked to anymore, communication is dying out, so why not jump on the bandwagon and just have one's friends just sit at the computer to read about you. It's something, at least!
